New Straits Times commented that the political and civil unrest in the Arab region have produced demands for meaty political change, economic equity and social inclusion - not just for measly adjustments to the current scenario.

Utusan Malaysia warned that the opposition would bring lies to Sarawak during the state elections and jeopardise harmony among Sarawakians. Hence, the BN must be prepared with a new strategy.

China Press commented on the death of an 11-year-old boy due to electric shock from a lamp- post at a playground in Subang Jaya. It called on parents to educate their children on safety.
