New Straits Times headlined the government issuing a directive for the Malaysian students caught in the unrest in Egypt to be evacuated to Jeddah.

Star put its spotlight on the flood situation in Johor, reporting that the situation was improving, with rain receding and the numbers of evacuees starting to drop.

Utusan Malaysia front-paged the heightened unrest in Egypt, with more than a million people demonstrating against President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo and other major cities of the country.

It also highlighted that more than 60,000 people have been affected by the flash floods in Pahang, Johor, Malacca and Negri Sembilan.

Berita Harian also focused on the situation in Egypt and reported that Malaysian students would be evacuated by sea and air.

Sinar Harian headlined that the remains of a low-cost flat resident in Selangor had to be carried down several flights of stairs because the lift is poorly maintained.
