The body was collected by family members, amid tears and painful wails, about 10.50am. It has been 15 days since the 37-year-old wireman was found dead in the Bukit Jalil police station lock-up on Jan 7.
His wife, P Revathi, 33 ( right ), was very distraught and fainted several times upon looking at the body.
Relatives, who declined to be named, said the findings of the post-mortem, which was completed at 3pm yesterday, would only be known on Monday.

The police and the attorney-general on Wednesday allowed the family's request for the second post-mortem, under a settlement recorded before High Court judge Mohd Zabidin Mohd Diah.
The first post-mortem, conducted at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, concluded that Krishnan died of complications arising from stomach ulcer.
The family claims that Krishnan's body was covered with bruises, and also had an open cut on the right abdomen and contusion in the right eye.
A witness has since come forward to say that he had seen police assaulting Krishnan and refusing him medical care, despite his pleas.
The body has been taken to the the family home in Kepong and prayers are to be conducted outside the Bukit Jalil police station lock-up at 10am tomorrow.
"After that, we will cremate him at the Cheras crematorium," an aunt of Krishnan said.
