The Terengganu government has allocated RM3 million for each BN assemblyman in the state to carry out projects for the people's well-being.

Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Said said the assemblymen are to spent the money for small projects, general assistance, repairing damaged roofs and houses and building houses for the needy.
"The allocations are for the well-being of the people in Terengganu," he told reporters after attending a community function in Kuala Nerus in Kuala Terengganu today.
The fund was to be spent ahead of an expected general election either later this year or 2012.
Last Wednesday, Selangor Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim announced an allocation of RM1 million to all Pakatan Rakyat state assemblypersons.
He said Selangor will follow BN's practice of withholding allocations from opposition elected representatives, in an eye-for-an-eye move that will see the money denied to BN representatives.
