The Penang Malaysian Malay Contractors Association (PKMMPP) today denied having sent a letter of apology to Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

Its president, Muhamad Fadzill Hassan, said he regretted the action of some irresponsible parties in distributing leaflets containing the alleged letter of apology from the association.

He said it was done to tarnish the good name and image of the association.

"The letter is fake and the signature on it is not my signature," he told Bernama today.

Recently, Muhamad Fadzill was reported to have apologised to the state government, allegedly for his rudeness during a discussion with Lim over the fate of 46 bumiputera contractors who had been ‘blacklisted’ by the state government.
