Police seize computer from Shuhaimi's office

Police today confirmed that they took computer equipment from the service centre of Sri Muda assemblyman Shuhaimi Shafiei of PKR in Kota Kemuning yesterday.

Selangor CID chief SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah, when contacted by Bernama today, said the equipment were taken for the purpose of investigations in connection with police reports alleging the assemblyman had posted seditious remarks about the Sultan of Selangor in his blog.
"Yes, we went to his service centre around noon yesterday. We took the computer equipment to assist our investigations.
"We expect to wrap of the probe very soon," he said.
Shuhaimi is alleged to have posted the remarks on Dec 30 following the appointment Mohamed Khusrin Munawi as the new Selangor state secretary which had not gone down well with the PKR-led government in Selangor.
