Prime Minister Najib Razak is scheduled to make a two-day visit to Sabah, beginning Jan 28.
Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman said, on the day of his arrival, Najib would open the Taman Ujana Perdana recreational park in Tanjung Aru near here.
Following this, he said, the prime minister would attend a lantern festival, in conjunction with the coming Chinese New Year celebrations while meeting the rakyat at the Linatasan Deasoka.
Speaking to reporters after chairing the state cabinet meeting here today, Musa said the next day, Najib would head to Tawau to open the new Maliau Basin Studies Centre, a centre for research, education and nature tourism.
