A good samaritan panicked after the mother of a baby did not return after 'visiting' the washroom at KL Sentral station today.
A good samaritan panicked after the mother of a baby did not return after 'visiting' the washroom at KL Sentral station today.
Nursing student Qurratnaini Amni Jamaludin, 20, said she was at KL Sentral at 10.25am when approached by a woman with a one week-old baby boy.
"The Malay woman with head scarf, pastel green blouse and jeans asked me to look after her baby as she had to visit the washroom," she told Bernama today.
Qurratnaini who just arrived at KL Sentral from Seremban at 10am panicked after the woman did not return to claim the baby after waiting for two hours.
She then contacted her parents who went to Kuala Lumpur by car to fetch her and the baby back in Seremban.
The 3.5kg baby with dark complexion was clad in shirt and blue pants. He was handed over to Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital, Seremban.
A police report was also lodged.
