The Perak Public Accounts Committee today advised Pakatan Rakyat parties not to raise resolved issues in an attempt to pit state government leaders against one another.
Its chairperson Raja Ahmad Zainuddin Raja Omar said the PAC had settled the matter of the more than RM1 million spent by the government on several official functions.
He was commenting on a statement by Perak PAS Youth secretary Raja Ahmad Al-Hiss who had questioned why the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had not probed the matter when it had investigated an officer of the Selangor Foundation over the RM300,000 or so spent on the foundation's 40th anniversary celebration.
Raja Ahmad Zainuddin said the matter had been settled after the PAC called up the relevant officers and was satisfied with their explanation.
