A political struggle is long and arduous.
There are many imponderables, zig-zags, ups and down.
Many things cannot be foreseen in the long term
except for principles.

In the struggle many will fall by the wayside, many will
become renegades and of course oppose the struggle and
the leaders tooth and nail worse than enemies.

However, the leaders that remain become invaluable for
they are tempered by the steel in the political fire.
They will accuse the leaders of being dictators, etc.
The answer should be, “better I be the dictator, than you be”.

In the long term success of the party, it is better to have
fewer leaders but better.

Let the dogs bark at the moon, the rocket and the eye.
