Kerdau assemblyperson Zaharuddin Abu Kassim, who was readmitted to Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh for unstable blood pressure, is reported to be recovering.

Zaharuddin Abu Kassim ADUN kerdauThe hospital director Dr Bahari Datuk Awang Ngah said since readmitted to the hospital two weeks ago, Zaharuddin, 63, was given intensive care.

"He is healthier and is expected to be discharged soon," he told reporters here today.

Deputy Higher Education Minister Saifuddin Abdullah, who is Temerloh member of parliament, visited Zaharuddin (left) at the hospital today.

Zaharuddin was admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) in Kuala Lumpur for two months due to kidney and heart problems after an operation for intestinal ulcer in May.
