New Straits Times headlined that sex education modules for students in forms one, two and four are ready to be implemented, but it will not be compulsory.

Star led with news that electric motorcycles will make its much-awaited debut in Malaysia next year. The lithium battery-powered machine will offer the same performance as a 125cc petrol-powered vehicle and will be priced slightly above RM10,000.

Malay newspapers

Sinar Harian, Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia front-paged that 48,327 students received straight As in the UPSR, the best performance since 2007.

Also gracing the front page was former PKR deputy president hopeful Zaid Ibrahim’s statement that he will form a new party if he is sacked.

Sinar Harian also gave prominence to PAS vice president Mahfuz Omar’s worry that the “cold war” in PKR will have a negative impact on Pakatan Rakyat.
