Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said today the upcoming Kuala Selangor PKR divisional meeting on Sunday will be in order.

NONE"Everyone will be safe," he told a news conference after chairing the weekly executive council meeting today.

He was asked to comment on his preparations for the meeting in the wake of the commotions which erupted at several PKR divisional meetings last weekend.

Abdul Khalid, who is the Kuala Selangor PKR division chief, is locked in a four-way tussle with former Kuala Selangor PKR Wanita chief Fauziah Sulaiman, 52, former Selangor PKR Youth information chief Mazli Saring, 42, and former teacher Muhammad Kamil Vaanan Abdullah, 44.

Khalid said there would be more observers at the meeting which would be held at the Kuala Selangor indoor stadium.

There would also be a limit imposed on the number of members allowed at the polling centre to prevent overcrowding, he said.

A total of 6,218 PKR members are eligible to vote in the divisional
election.
