Heavy rain this morning resulted in another leak at one of the High Court rooms on the fifth floor of the Court Complex, Jalan Duta here.

The first leak, at the same spot which damaged several pieces of furniture, occurred on Sept 8 after a heavy downpour.

A court staff said the building's maintenance workers were locating the source.

"Whenever it rains heavily, water will seep through the main pillars of the sixth floor, flooding the witness room of High Court 2," she said.

The staff said minor leaks were also reported in other parts of the court complex.

Three months ago, a burst pipe caused flooding at the cafeteria of the three-year-old RM270 million complex, touted as the world's second largest court complex.

The incident caused substantial damage to a book store and mini post office at the basement.
