Khalid in four-way race in Kuala S'gor division

Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim is likely to face three other contestants for the post of Kuala Selangor division chief of PKR on Oct 3.

NONE Besides Khalid (right), the three others who have confirmed their candidacy are former Kuala Selangor Wanita PKR chief Fauziah Sulaiman, 52, former Selangor Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) information chief Mazli Saring, 42, and former teacher Muhammad Kamil Vaanan Abdullah, 44.

Mazli told reporters in Kuala Selangor today he felt that several matters in the leadership had to be straightened out.

Muhammad Kamil said he was contesting to prove that democracy still existed in PKR.

Some 6,218 PKR members in the division are eligible to elect the divisional leaders at the annual general meeting to be held at the Kuala Selangor Indoor Stadium.
