Galas assemblyman admitted to ICU

Galas assemblyman Che Hashim Sulaima has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Perdana Specialist Hospital in Kota Bharu due to colon cancer.

Galas assemblyman Che Hashim Sulaima has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Perdana Specialist Hospital in Kota Bharu due to colon cancer.

State Assembly speaker Nasuruddin Daud, when contacted by Bernama, said the PAS assemblyman was admitted to the hospital two or three days ago.

Che Hashim is said to have been diagnosed with colon cancer last year and then went to Guangzhou, China, for treatment.

He won the Galas seat with a majority of 646 votes in the last general election against incumbent, Saufi Deraman, from Barisan Nasional.
