Leaders of Gerakan Anti-Samy Vellu (GAS) will be distributing 3,600 copies of VCDs depicting the ruckus that took place during the recent GAS gathering in Klang.

NONE The VCDs will be delivered via post or handed over personally to the MIC central committee members, branch chairpersons, state police chiefs and the Selangor police chief.

A 48-hour time period has been given for the distribution of the VCDs to coincide with the MIC annual general meeting that is scheduled to take place on Saturday.

" Interested members of the public can request a copy from us. However, a small fee will be charged," former MIC central working committee member KP Samy ( below ) said.

NONE The VCDs are divided into two parts, with a combined duration of an hour.

A scene in the VCD depicts a footage of Selangor MIC information chief L Siva Subramaniam and his supporters using vulgar Tamil words against the GAS leaders.

Copies of the VCD were distributed to the members of the media after a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.

"We challenge the MIC members to watch the VCDs together with their families," Samy said.

He called for those who gate-crashed the gathering to be sacked from the MIC for using excessive force and ‘classical Tamil' to disrupt the gathering.

"The recording will definitely reflect badly on the current MIC leadership and keep them on their toes," he added.

NONE The former MIC strongman also threatened to take legal action against Siva Subramaniam.

" My lawyers and I are looking into the matter," he said, adding that GAS was planning another gathering.

" We will continue with our fight despite all the disruptions and threats," he said, but did not want to name the place or date.

Last Sunday, around 50 members of MIC gatecrashed the GAS gathering with the theme, Dawn for the Indian Community .

The gathering also saw a shouting match between the gatecrashers and GAS supporters.
