The key witness in the shooting case of Aminulrasyid Amzah was called for an identification parade at the Shah Alam Contingent headquarters today.

It was carried out based on a police report made on May 20 by Mohd Hafizzuddin Omar, the brother of witness Azamuddin Omar (left), accusing the police of attempting to murder Azamuddin during the night of the incident.
When contacted by Malaysiakini, Farhana Abdul Halim, a lawyer representing Azamuddin, said that the identification parade ended before the actual time it was supposed to start.
"However, according to Monaliza Mokhtar, a Parent-Teacher Association representative from Azamuddin's school, he could not identify the police officer who hit him as it was too dark at the time of the incident" she added.
Farhana said there were more than 10 police officers present during the process.
She also lamented that no courtesy was given to the lawyers as the police had been informed that she wanted to be present during the process.
Regretting that Azamuddin had been placed in a difficult position, she said that the police were shouting at him, asking whether he was satisfied with the current situation.
"This is too much pressure on a 15-year-old student who will be sitting for Peperiksaan Menengah Rendah (PMR) in two months' time," she lamented.
On May 26, Azamuddin was quizzed for the fourth time at the Bukit Aman federal headquarters over the April 25 incident.
Aminulrasyid had gone out with Azamuddin on the evening of April 25 to a nearby food stall to watch football.
Aminulrasyid was killed, however, after coming under a hail of gunfire from police officers after the two youths were said to have ignored orders to stop following a high-speed chase.
