Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim lost his cool today when a reporter kept pushing him to reveal the evidence he had promised on his claim that the defection of several former PKR parliamentarians was encouraged by offers of RM2 million as well as contracts.

NONEAlthough he has repeatedly said that he would reveal all at a time of his choosing, the RTM reporter persisted with his questions until Anwar become agitated.

The reporter pressed on, but Anwar retorted what good had come from the previous evidence he had given pertaining to the VK Lingam video claiming interference in the judiciary, the Scorpene submarine deal, and the Perwaja Steel and Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandals.

"Let's all think (about this) again. I have revealed the evidence on the Lingam video but no action was taken, although the truth was proved.

"I have made my statement on this issue (the RM2 million claim). I will reveal it when the time comes," Anwar repeated, but the reporter demanded that a timeframe be set.

Losing his cool, Anwar shot back: "I want to challenge your minister, why is there no action regarding the evidence I have given? RTM is a government channel, not an Umno lackey. You (pointing at the reporter) can give a press conference here if you want."

Reporter: When are you going to prove it? Everyone has been asking about it.

Anwar: Are you done? Do you want to continue? Okay, shut up.

I have said that I would reveal it at the right time, and that is my answer. Even if I reveal it, are they going to take any action? Is RTM going to report it?
