A clerk today lodged a police report alleging that his employer, Rantau Panjang member of parliament Siti Zailah Mohd Yusof, had threatened him for attempting to submit a report on her performance to the PAS national headquarters.

Ahmad Syauqey Abdul Ghani, 35, who claimed to be the special officer to the MP, lodged the report at the Kota Bharu district police headquarters at 10.30am.

Speaking to reporters after lodging the report, he claimed that his employer threatened him over a telephone conversation with his wife Salwati Mohd Ariffin, 34, on June 5.

He said he started working for Siti Zailah in early January.

Meanwhile, when met by reporters at the 50th annual meeting of the PAS Wanita wing, Siti Zailah said Ahmad Syauqey was not her special officer but was a clerk at the Rantau Panjang parliamentary service centre.
