Donald Lim Siang Chai, Maglin Dennis D'Cruz and Gan Ping Shou @ Gan Ping Sieu were sworn in as senators before Senate President Abu Zahar Ujang at the Parliament building today.

NONETheir appointments had received the consent of Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin.

Yesterday Prime Minister Najib Abdul Abdul Razak announced the appointment of Lim as deputy finance minister, D'Cruz as deputy information communication and culture minister and Gan as deputy youth and sports minister.

Their appointments as deputy ministers are effective Friday.
