'Evict Zionist agents' protest at PM's office tomorrow

PKR’s Youth wing will protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya tomorrow to pressure the government to evict Israeli-linked public relations firm Apco Worldwide and communications company Asiasoft from Malaysian shores.

"We are against Apco Worldwide which is an agent of the Zionist regime," said PKR Youth information chief Lee Khai Loon.
Lee added that the movement will also hand over a memorandum to the prime minister to express their strong views on the matter.
The opposition has repeatedly alleged that the public relations firm and communication technology company Asiasoft represent a threat to the nation.
According to a statement from the movement, the 11.30am demonstration will be led by its chief Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.
This demonstration joins worldwide outrage over the Israeli commando-style raid on a Gaza-bound humanitarian aid flotilla yesterday.
Apco has been linked to Israel when it was revealed that its senior leadership is sprinkled with diplomats and security personnel from that country.
Asiasoft is the company allegedly owned by Israeli interests, whose supply of communications technology to the Malaysian police raised the ire of the opposition who claimed the firm was used by Israeli intelligence agents to infiltrate the Malaysian police.
PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, Apco’s most vocal critic, will face the music next Tuesday for his strong words alleging connections between Israel, Apco and 1Malaysia. He is set to face the parliamentary rights and privileges committee to explain his remarks.
'Terminate ties'
In a related move, Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim urged Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to clearly express Malaysia's stand against the attack by terminating all ties.
"The prime minister must cancel the government’s contract with Apco and stop the use of Jewish police surveillance technology provided by American and European companies that uses Jewish technical support," he said.
Israeli marines stormed the Turkish aid ship bound for Gaza on Monday resulting in up to 19 activists being killed.
Its navy also stopped six ships ferrying 700 people and 10,000 tonnes of supplies for the Palestinians in Gaza.
The PKR protest will be the fifth such demonstration held in Malaysia against the deadly attack on the international aid convoy.
Earlier today there were three demonstrations at the US embassy and one at United Nations office headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Protest notes were delivered to representatives of each.
