Deputy Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Fadillah Yusof and Senator Empiang Jabu returned unopposed as Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth and Wanita chiefs respectively.

Their respective deputies, Daniel Jubang Kanyan and Fatimah Abdullah were also returned unopposed at the wings' elections today.

Fadillah described the movement's newly-elected office-bearers as the best line up to face the coming state election.

"Those elected to their posts are eager to serve while those who lost remain true to the party's struggle," he told Bernama in Kuching, Sarawak.

Empiang also hailed the Wanita's line up, saying it has a good mix of experienced and professional people.

"Of the 33 office-bearers, seven are under 40. There are also those who have served the movement for three terms," she said.

Following today’s developments, Fadillah leads PBB Youth, followed by his deputy Daniel Jubang Kanyan and vice-chiefs Ensaring Suel, Dr Simon Sinang Bada and Pandi Suhaili.
