Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Mohamad Hasan said today he plans to make changes soon to the state executive council portfolios, introducing new ones and removing some existing ones to
ensure that all portfolios are functional.

"For example, we may have a portfolio on small and medium industries in a move to give these industries a boost," he said.

Mohamad said the 10 state executive councillors would be retained as he did not have any problems with them.

It is unclear whether former menteri besar Isa Samad, who last year made a come back by winning the Bagan Pinang by-election, will be included in the state cabinet.

Mohamad also said that he would discuss with Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (Sains) on Wednesday on the need to introduce a new system to ensure uninterrupted water supply.

He was asked to comment on reports of residents in Seremban and several other districts often facing disruption in water supply.

Mohamad said supply could not meet the demand of consumption, and advised the people to use water sparingly, especially during the current hot spell.
