Arrangements are being made to extradite the nine foreigners who were recently detained under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for alleged links with international terrorist organisations, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said today.

He said they were on the most wanted lists of not only their home countries but also of intelligence agencies and anti-terrorist organisations.

Hishammuddin, however, declined to provide details on where and when the suspected terrorists were arrested and which terrorist networks they were linked to.

On Jan 27, Hishammuddin confirmed that 10 people - nine foreigners and one Malaysian - had been detained under the ISA for alleged links with international terrorist organisations. 

Asked about the protest lodged by more than 50 Australian MPs last week over the Anwar Ibrahim sodomy trial, Hishammuddin said: "Foreign leaders who think that their parliament is independent should not interfere in our parliamentary and judicial system."
