The graphic designer, 29, surrendered at the Kota Bharu district police headquarters yesterday and was produced for remand proceedings today at the Magistrate's Court.
The blogger, who goes by the pen name ‘Aduka Taruna’, is now being taken to the Federal Commercial Crimes Investigation Department (CCID) in Kuala Lumpur for questioning.
He is being investigated under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act and Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act, said CCID director Comm Koh Hong Sun, reported The Star Online.
Following an outcry over his posting, the blogger removed the posting and issued an open apology.
