Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim does not believe that PKR vice-president Azmin Ali is behind a conspiracy to topple his leadership.
Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim does not believe that PKR vice-president Azmin Ali is behind a conspiracy to topple his leadership.
He said the recent resignation of 11 Kuala Selangor PKR committee members including the Youth and Wanita chiefs had nothing to do with Azmin.
"It is just a tale. Kuala Selangor PKR committee which met yesterday gave me full support to lead the division," he told reporters after giving aid to senior citizens in Ijok constituency at Taman Desa Coalfields in Sungai Buloh today.
Former Selangor PKR secretary Mohd Nazmi Rosli said Azmin was behind the resignation of Kuala Selangor committee members to strengthen his position at the party elections this year.
Kuala Selangor PKR deputy chief Arshad Abu Bakar said the resignations had paralysed the division as it was left with only three elected members in Khalid, Faridah Abdul Rahman and himself.
