The Malaysia Makkal Sakti Party's tat for tat drama series continued with its sacked president RS Thanenthiran returning the favour by issuing termination letters to those who had booted him out.

He had sent out the letters on Thursday to 14 central committee members, who had snatched away his party membership, for bringing the party into disrepute.

They were also accused of breaking into the party head office in Section 13, Shah Alam to hold the illegal meeting .

Thanenthiran also acknowledged that he had received replies via email on Jan 12 from the G14 to his show-cause letters issued last year.

However, in the termination letter, he stated he had rejected the replies because he did not consider them as proper explanations to his show-cause letters.

Among those sacked were party deputy president A Vathemurthy and secretary-general R Kannan.

The show-cause letters were issued after the G14 held an emergency CC meeting on Dec 19.

At the meeting, the G14 passed a motion of no confidence against Thanenthiran and called on him to quit the presidency.

On Jan 17, they decided to sack Thanenthiran as party member.

Thanenthian, who was in India then, returned home last Tuesday and announced immediately that he was using his presidential powers to kick out the G14.

The G14 returned fire today by accusing Thanenthiran of fraud by amending the Section 7.2, albeit with the approval of Registrar of Societies (RoS), without the knowledge and approval of CC and party members.

In the alleged amendment made late last year, the G14 has accused Thanenthiran of hijacking the CC power to sack a party member.

The G14 lodged police reports last Sunday against Thanenthiran on the matter.

Kannan has also submitted a copy of the police report, Thanenthiran ‘sacking' and the preceding events to the RoS.

The party was launched in full media blitz by BN chairperson and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak last October.

The G14 is now arranging a meeting with Najib for sometime next week to receive the premier's ‘blessing' for their perceived successful party coup.
