The Department of Wildlife and National Parks appreciates the issues highlighted in the said article.

The department is equally concerned about free roaming of the buffaloes along the newly-constructed road to Kuala Tahan, the main entry points to Taman Negara Pahang.

The department would also like to stress that the concerned road is located outside Taman Negara.

The Department views the matter seriously and will take up this issue with the respective authority to resolve the matter accordingly.
