The government is seeking public feedback and ideas on ways to improve national unity in Malaysia.

NONE According to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Koh Tsu Koon ( pic, left) , feedback and suggestions received from the public would assist discussions on unity and 1Malaysia at an idea-generating session or "labs".

The feedback sought by the government transformation programme led by the Prime Minister's performance management and delivery unit (Pemandu) can be submitted to Pemandu's website www.transformation.gov.my via email at ideas@transformation.gov.my.

Innovative solutions

Through the labs, the government planned to come up with radical, practical and innovative solutions to achieve and promote national unity and social harmony in the country, the statement said.

The effort to promote national unity, the cornerstone of nation building, was in line with Prime Minister Najib Razak's commitment to "1Malaysia, People First, Performance Now," and the creation of "One dream, One people, One Nation."

In addition to national unity, Pemandu is also seeking public feedback on

each of the six National Key Result Areas (NKRA) - reduce crime, fight

corruption, widen access to affordable and quality education, raise living

standard of the poor, improve infrastructure in rural areas and improve public transport.
