3 Umno-BN policies which destroyed MIC

Jeremy Tankh: R Mutharasan, while advocating two or more Indian political parties (and for that matter, Chinese political parties), has conveniently left out (for reasons only known to himself) the idea of two or more Malay/Muslim political parties in BN.

Without the balancing effect, this will further strengthen the position and concept of "BN was always helmed by the Umno" as rightly claimed by himself, and continue to promote the master-servant relationship within BN, which was already a failed formula.

M Arokianathan: Well said, Mr Mutharasan. I think your proposal should apply to all small Indian-based parties such as IPF, Makkal Sakthi, and Hindraf who do not belong to any coalition. Let every coalition be on their toes and serve the rakyat.

Chipmunk: BN leaders must remember that the 1Malaysia concept existed long before the recent launch and that in general Malaysians are a tolerant society. The disunity we see did not arise from hatred within the community but rather a tool used by politicians for self-interest. BN should do away with Umno, MCA, MIC, Gerakan, PPP and all other parties and be united as the Barisan Nasional for all race, colour and creed.

This is the only way 1 Malaysia will succeed. It is time BN looks at Malaysians as Malaysians rather then branding them through party protocol. I do hope that our PM will look at the macro instead of the micro so that our beloved country will stand out as one united nation for Malaysians and the world over.
