Negeri Sembilan BN chief Mohamad Hasan who is also the menteri besar said, the candidate would be announced by Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, during BN's state level Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration in Port Dickson.
"The candidate picked by the Umno leadership will be known on that day," he told reporters after chairing a state BN liaison meeting today.
He added that the state Umno liaison has yet to receive the list of candidates from the Teluk Kemang Umno division headed by Mohd Isa Abdul Samad.
"I have not sent the name list to the party headquarters because I have not received it from the Teluk Kemang division," he said.
