I had enrolled for driving lessons at the IMKL in Setapak in April. To date, I have yet to complete my lessons. It turns out that my driving instructor, Mr A, is a con man.

He asked that I pay the balance payment RM750 for my lessons which I duly paid. He did not issue a receipt.

Then the next day, he cancelled my class with him and kept cancelling frequently. I finally contacted the boss of the agency.

They arranged for my instructor to pass over fee money to a new instructor. In the end, Mr A never paid the money to my new instructor.

Mr A has SMSed me often claiming he will pay the money to the new instructor, Mr N, but so far he has not done so.

I regret not insisting on a receipt. Nevertheless, I made a police report

IMKL refuses to take responsibility because Mr A isn't registered with the franchise. He is a freelance contractor under their full-time instructor, Mr N.

I'm disappointed. Who really cares how the system works in that school? I have been cheated by someone who was allowed to teach at the IMKL premises.

How can IMKL say they should be kept out of the matter? Where is their sense of responsibility?
