Although, the country boasts of being multicultural and tolerant towards all races and religions, it was not reflected in the recent cow-head protest and the Al-Islam journalists' desecration of a Christian communion wafer.

Muslims carried out both these incidents. So now we have two types of Muslims in this country, the educated ones and the Taliban-style Muslims who feel they own the country and can do what ever they wish.

Little do these people realise the pain and suffering Muslims are enduring in countries led by Muslim extremists such as in Afghanistan and Sudan.

The government has several ways to eradicate this problem:
  • Impose long jail sentences and hefty fines.
  • Use the ISA
  • Root out all extremist groups and isolated them.
  • Check Umno activities which support these groups.
  • Bring together ethnic, minority groups for religious discussions
  • Educate students at kindergarten and primary school levels about different cultures and traditions
Failure to do so will portray Malaysia as another Taliban-run government and the negative effects will be:
  • Reduction of investments in the country.
  • Wealth taken out of the country.
  • Business shifting to other countries.
  • Closing down of businesses especially by the Chinese communities.
  • Country becomes poorer.
  • Ethnic violence increases.
  • The wealthy migrating to other countries.
The above are just a few examples of how this country could crumble in a blink of an eye. Do we really want this?

After all the years of hard work, do we really want to see this country resemble Sri Lanka, Bosnia, Chechnya or Africa?
