The air quality across the country is generally good with 39 out of 43 areas being monitored for their air pollutant index (API) nationwide showing a good reading as at 11am today.
The air quality across the country is generally good with 39 out of 43 areas being monitored for their air pollutant index (API) nationwide showing a good reading as at 11am today.
Several areas in Sabah and Sarawak, however, showed a moderate air quality, according to the daily air quality update posted on the Department of Environment's website.
Among areas with moderate air quality are Keningau (52), Sandakan (53), Tawau (61), Bintulu (57), Kapit (77), Kuching (65), Samarahan (83), Sarikei (66), Sibu (76), Sri Aman (83) and Labuan (58).
An API reading of 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 (moderate), 101-200 (unhealthy), 201-300 (very unhealthy) and above 300 (hazardous).
