Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the Pakatan Rakyat Penang government still has the peoples' support as it has succeeded in administering the state.

NONE"The Penang state government has delivered on its promises, except for one or two issues, but we tried the best we could. We still have support from the people," he told a press conference today.

Lim was commenting on a statement by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak yesterday that the people had cast doubts on the credibility of state governments ruled by the Opposition.

The premier said the Pakatan state governments were facing a host of problems for their failure to deliver on their promises and meet the peoples' wishes as promised during the general election last year.

Earlier, Lim launched a competition on the Georgetown heritage site organised by the Architects Association of Malaysia (PAM).

The competition offered cash prizes totalling RM100,000.
