MCA president Ong Tee Keat had, today, gone over to the MACC office to record his statement for the second time on the PKFZ issue and the so called ‘free' plane rides (courtesy of KDSB's majority shareholder Tiong King Sing) accusation.

ong tee keat meeting penang 300809 01Ong, on arriving at Putrajaya MACC at 8 this morning, told the media that the purpose of his visit was to fulfill his promise of giving MACC his fullest cooperation.

Ong's first statement was recorded yesterday. They were, however, unable to complete the session as Ong was scheduled to go to Kelantan.

As with the first session of statement recording, Ong was unrepresented (by a lawyer). He stated his reason for the absence of a lawyer, "we are here to tell MACC the truth, so a lawyer is unnecessary at this point.

"What's the use of a lawyer, we are not going to court!".

When quizzed on questions posed by the MACC, Ong briefly stated that most of them were concerning the PKFZ issues and malicious accusations made against him.

Major contractor, Kuala Dimensi, claimed that Ong had used KDSB's company jet four times, without paying. Tiong has further accused Ong of receiving RM10 million in donations from him.

"I have communicated fully to MACC, details and information on these issues".

Ong further added that a follow-up to today's second session may proceed next.

Ong has also pledged to give MACC his fullest cooperation, any time, to resolve the issues in focus.

To meet with Najib

najib 100 day bash 110709 najib 02He has also confirmed of a meeting to take place between him and Najib (left). He explained the purpose of the meeting, is for PKFZ's special task force to present their findings over the issue and has nothing to do with current MCA crisis.

"As with what I have stated earlier, I will hand in PKFZ's task force report to the authority, which will include Najib".

Ong Tee Keat, however, has refused to comment on the MCA issue. Asked if a mediator might help in resolving the MCA crisis, he replied, "I don't know".
