New Straits Times reported that Prime Minister and Umno president Najib Abdul Razak is willing to discuss with PAS regarding the unity government as he felt that PAS is sincere.

Tamil newspapers

Malaysia Nanban and Tamil Nesan headlined that Pottu Amman has been elected to lead the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam following the death of Velupillai Prabakaran.

Pottu Amman was previously reported to have been killed but his body was not identified.

Meanwhile, Makkal Osai led with Health Minister Liow Tiong Lai warning the public that they would be fined RM100 for every Aedes mosquito found in their home. This is part of the ministry’s effort to curb dengue.
