Tamil newspapers

All three Tamil dailies - Tamil Nesan, Malaysia Nanban and Makkal Osai - reported on man who had stabbed his wife to death in Klang. He was apprehended by people while attempting to torch his car with his two children inside.

Makkal Osai also reported that LTTE supremo Vellupillai Prabakaran's son Charles Anthony was killed by the Sri Lankan army in front of his father.

New Straits Times urged all citizens to wake up and fight the war against dengue as they are the ones "who are under attack". It also blamed the people's apathy against fighting the fever.

Berita Harian opined that haze could be prevented by avoiding open burning.

Makkal Osai also commented on the dengue fever outbreak, questioning people's lackadaisical attitude in fighting the aedes mosquito.

Tamil Nesan also said that more must be done to fight the dengue fever outbreak.
