Manohara, who has since fled to Indonesia, filed the report at the national police headquarters in Jakarta yesterday, according to local newspaper Surya.

Her lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea said she has named eight people in her police report.

This includes the pilot of a private airplane who allegedly kidnapped her from Jeddah last March, Mohd Soberi Shafii, a close confidante of the prince and his wife, Matara Afgani, a private bodyguard who allegedly assaulted her in the plane and an Indonesian friend of the prince.

All eight are to be investigated under Section 285 of Indonesia's penal code for kidnapping and ill treatment.

The news report further added that Manohara is also contemplating accusing the eight under Section 333 for unlawful detention.

After lodging the police report, her lawyer said she was taken for a thorough medical examination accompanied by the investigating police officer.

"If women do not empathise (with the injuries)… it would be strange. This is clear evidence, even I was almost brought to tears," he was quoted as saying in Surya.

"There were also bruises on her private part. These are the words of the doctor and not tales concocted by Manohara," he said.

Meanwhile, the former model also claimed that her neck was burnt with an hot iron.

Yesterday, AFP reported that forensics expert Dr Abd Mun'im Idries who conducted the initial medical examination confirmed that there were traces of injuries, some of which were still fresh.

Elaborating on the issue, her lawyer said Manohara will seek the assistance of the Indonesian police as well as Interpol to complete the investigation.

"We also seek the cooperation of the Malaysian police, the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia to facilitate (the investigation)," said Manohara's other lawyer, Warsito Sanyoto.

The Kelantan palace has declared the matter to be a personal matter between the couple.
