Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's statement that Muslim Malays are insignificant and incompetent is only true and applicable to certain sections of the Malay Malaysian community — notably, those from his own party.

These Muslim Malays are also incorrigibly corrupt.

Mahathir said Malay Malaysians have a tendency to take the easy way out. But, this is really what his Muslim Malay party members do.

They get big projects then sell it to rich Chinese Malaysian towkays for easy money.

Mahathir also ridiculed the attitude of past Malay rulers. The truth is his Muslim Malay party leaders are carbon-copies of those feudal Malay rulers.

And today we also have new 'colonialists' in the form of Umno. They think themselves as protectors of the Malay Malaysians. But in all honesty they are the opposite.

Mahathir should look at his family especially his sons' business incompetence before criticising other Muslim Malays.

Mahathir is the least qualified to comment on the contribution of the Malay Malaysians. Mahathir does not represent the majority of Muslim Malays any longer.
