The most immediate and sure victims of the MCA victory in the Indera Kayangan by-election is not Keadilan, DAP or BA, but leaders and members of MCA's Team B.

Although the victory was delivered to MCA by Umno, Team A of MCA has already claimed that it is under the leadership of Dr Ling Liong Sik that the party won.

By exploiting the victory, Ling's faction certainly would mobilise grassroots' opinions against Team B. Team B is very likely to be voted out in the coming party elections.

After that, the losers would be stripped of their ministerial posts and will not be selected as candidates for the general elections.

Also, Team A will consolidate its grip on the Chinese-language media, and demand more concessions from Umno and the government.

With more goodies to deliver, Team A and Ling will survive the next general elections and rule forever. The next victim then will be Gerakan.
